The selection steps of polyacrylamide sewage treatment agent: 1. Select the water sample; 2. Configure the agent; 3. Determine the dosage; 4. Determine the model.

Before the sewage treatment agent is produced, the polyacrylamide factory will conduct a series of experiments to determine the production model of polyacrylamide.

1. Selection of experimental water samples:

1.1. Sedimentation or air flotation: select the water sample that has been added with inorganic flocculant (iron salt or aluminum salt) but not PAM (polyacrylamide) before entering the sedimentation tank or air flotation machine;

1.2. Desliming: Select the sludge from the on-site sludge thickening tank (at the bottom or middle of the sludge tank, the sludge concentration meets the requirements for the on-site deslimer to enter the sludge); or do not add PAM (polyacrylamide) sludge before entering the desludger on site (Generally, there is a sampling valve at the outlet of the mud inlet pump).

2. Polyacrylamide agent configuration (sedimentation or air flotation):

2.1. Dissolving agent: choose conventional PAM based on experience (select according to industry, water quality, etc., product models are staggered according to the index range),

Use a stirring device to prepare PAM solutions with the same concentration; the recommended solution concentration is 0.1% (that is, add 1g of flocculant to 1L of dissolved water to dry

powder); the weighing error is less than 0.005g, and when the powder is dissolved, ensure that it is completely dissolved without "pimples"; if it is used on site, use

The dissolved water is used to dissolve the agent on site (generally, the sewage plant uses reused water).

3. Determination of the dosage: take a certain volume (300-500ml) of experimental water samples (stir well before use), add a certain amount of dissolved

A certain amount of good PAM solution (determined roughly according to the concentration of the water sample, generally less than 10ppm), stir and mix evenly with a glass rod, so that

The flocculant and the experimental water sample mix and react evenly and completely, and observe the separation speed of mud and water and the clarity of the supernatant to achieve on-site treatment

Requirements: If the flocculation effect is not ideal, gradually add the flocculant until the best effect, and determine the optimal dosage of the agent.

4. Model determination: Take several experimental water samples with the same volume and capacity (300-500ml) (recommended to use a measuring cylinder of the same specification),

Add different types of PAM solutions that have been dissolved (the amount has been determined in the above steps), mix and react evenly and completely, and stand still for comparison.

Observe the mud-water separation speed and supernatant clarity of different types of flocculants after reaction, and determine the best model.

4.1. Repeat the previous step until the best model of PAM product is selected.
